Common questions
Is there really no monthly fee?
There is no platform fee, no setup fee, and no contract. The only money Admittee makes is the transaction fee on payments you collect, which is why free events and the scheduling side cost nothing.
Who pays the transaction fee?
You choose per event. Most schools pass it to the buyer, which is shown as a service fee at checkout and means the school nets the full ticket price. You can absorb it instead, in which case the fee comes out of what you collect.
Are card processing fees extra?
No. Card processing is already inside every rate on this page. There is no separate Stripe bill and no percentage stacked on top.
What does it cost to run a free event?
Nothing. Free tickets, $0 registrations, and events that never sell a ticket carry no fee at all.
Is there a fee for refunds or chargebacks?
No. A refund returns the full amount the buyer paid, including the fee, and we do not charge to issue one or to handle a chargeback.
How do we get paid?
Payouts go straight to your bank account on a schedule you set, through Stripe. There is no payout fee and no holding period beyond Stripe's standard one.
Do we need a contract or a purchase order?
No contract and no minimum. If your business office needs a W-9, a COI, or paperwork for procurement, ask us and we will send it.
What does it cost to switch from what we use now?
