The difference is what sits in the middle
Both products say "all in one place", and both mean it. The question worth asking is: one place for whom?
Bound's centre is the activity schedule. Their own scheduling page opens with "today's athletic directors are juggling disconnected schedules", their registration page is about eligibility, physicals and rostering student-athletes, and their facility module is described as reservations "connected to your activity schedule". That is a coherent, well-built product, and if the athletic department is the thing you are solving for, it is a strong one.
Admittee's centre is the room. A gym is a practice on Tuesday, a home game on Friday, a youth league on Saturday and a church on Sunday — and only one of those four is an athletic activity. When the schedule is the centre, the other three are guests. When the facility is the centre, they are all just bookings, and the double-booking that nobody catches until someone arrives stops being possible.
Where Bound is the better answer
If your problem is the athletic department specifically, Bound does several things we do not do at all. Assigning officials, workers and transportation to a contest is real AD work and they have built for it. So is athletic eligibility: collecting physicals, tracking clearance status, warning you at thirty and sixty days, and rostering student-athletes into teams with their families attached.
Admittee has game proposals and it has registrations, but our registrations are paid enrollment — camps, clinics, programs, with waitlists, forms and payment plans — not eligibility clearance. An athletic director evaluating the two on athletics alone should know that honestly, and it is why some schools run both.

How schools switch
Some schools run both for a season — Bound for officials and eligibility, Admittee for the calendar, rentals and payments. The cost is two systems that each believe they know when the gym is free.
**Who switches.** Schools where more than athletics competes for the same spaces: theatre, the PTO, summer camps, and the outside groups renting on Saturday.
Common questions
Is Admittee just Bound without the athletics features?
No — it is a different centre, which changes what the product is for. Bound organises a school around its activity schedule; Admittee organises it around its rooms. If everything that matters to you is an athletic activity, Bound's shape fits better. If the theatre, the PTO, the summer camp and the Saturday youth league all need the same gym, ours does.
Can a school run both?
Some do, and it is not unreasonable while eligibility and officials assignment matter more than a single calendar. The cost is the usual one: two systems that each believe they know when the gym is free.
We are a small school with no facilities office. Does the facility-first argument still apply?
It applies more, not less. A school with a facilities office has somebody whose job is catching conflicts. A school without one is relying on an athletic director to notice that the band concert and the JV game want the same space, which is exactly the thing a shared calendar does without being asked.
What does Admittee cost compared to Bound?
