Tournament weekend, one app at every door.
Families buy passes and tickets from your own website. At the door, staff scan the pass or take tap to pay on the same phone or tablet, and every admission lands in one report.
From the schedule to the last whistle
A three-day tournament across two gyms
Sell from your own website
The calendar and checkout embed on your site, so families find the date and pay without leaving it.
Families buy a pass once
A family pass or a book of admissions, in Apple or Google Wallet the moment it is bought. A tournament day can take more than one credit.
Scan or tap at every door
Staff scan passes and tickets, and sell to walk-ups with tap to pay, on the same device. Every gym counts into the same total.
353
scanned of 1,200
Know who came and what came in
Admissions and payments by day, by event and by the minute, split into total, fees and net.
Built for a busy door
Family and season passes
A pass for the whole season, or a book of admissions the whole family shares. The money arrives before the games do.
MoreScanning at every gym
Tickets, passes and memberships scan on a phone or tablet, with the signal you actually have in a gym.
MoreTap to pay, no reader required
Walk-ups pay by card or phone on the device staff already carry. A reader is an option, not a prerequisite.
MoreConcessions
An item grid in the same app, at 2.8% + $0.20, tied to the event it happened at.
MoreMulti-day, multi-gym events
More than one entrance, each scanning into the same count, so the number at the end of the weekend is the number.
One checkout
Tickets for two days, a pass and a donation in a single transaction, with one receipt.
MoreWe used to juggle Square for payments and a paper card for family passes. Now it's one iPad. Scan the pass or tap to pay, and they're in.
Coach Ota runs day-to-day operations at San Diego Sol, a 1,000-player youth basketball club, where one iPad replaced a Square reader and paper family passes.

Questions
Do we need card readers?
No. Tap to pay works on the phones staff already carry. Readers exist if you prefer them, and so do tablets for a busier door.
What if the gym wifi is bad?
That is the normal case in a gym, and scanning is built for it rather than assuming a good connection.
We already take payments with Square.
Square takes the payment; it does not know about the pass a family bought online or which event the money belongs to. See the Square comparison.
Can volunteers run the door?
Yes, and roles limit what they reach. Handing a volunteer a phone at the door does not hand them the settings.
