Accessing the Event Day App

The Event Day App is your tool for running a smooth event. Volunteers can use it to scan tickets, sell concessions, and keep everything tracked in real time. Every action taken in the app is recorded and available in your Event Activity on the admin dashboard. 

The Event Day App can be used on any modern mobile phone or tablet that’s connected to cellular data or Wi-Fi.

✅ Before Event Day: Prep Checklist

  • Make sure volunteer devices are fully charged.

  • Confirm your venue has cellular or Wi-Fi coverage where tickets will be scanned.

  • Open the event in Admittee and get the unique Event Day App link.

  • Share the link with your volunteers so they can log in and be ready.

  • Run a quick test scan or sale ahead of time to confirm everything works smoothly.


📲 Getting a Unique Link for Your Event

  1. Open your event and click Event Day Tools in the upper right.

  2. In the overlay, you’ll see a QR code and a Copy Event Day App link.

  3. Scan the QR code with your phone to open the Event Day App and confirm the event date.

  4. Share this unique link with your volunteers so they’re accessing the right event.



🚪 Choose Between Two Paths in the App

  • 🎟 Redeem Tickets → Scan and check in guests as they arrive.

  • 🍿 Concessions → Sell concessions or merchandise directly from the app.

📊 Tracking Event Activity

  • Every ticket redeemed and every concession sold in the Event Day App is automatically recorded.

  • You can view the full history in your Event Activity within the admin dashboard.

  • This gives you a real-time and post-event record of everything that happened on event day.
